Supporting Rainbow Families
Rainbow Families Switchboard connects and supports LGBTIQA+ parents, coparents, carers and their families through social events, online support groups and advocacy.
The program coordinates a Community of Practice to support services to develop and deliver rainbow family-inclusive better practice across Victoria. Rainbow Families Switchboard offers consultation, training and support to all levels of government.
Transparent is an online and social support group for transgender, gender diverse and non-binary parents and carers, including expectant and prospective parents and carers.

transPARENT group
Rainbow Families Switchboard coordinates the transPARENT group for trans, gender diverse and non-binary parents, coparents and carers across Victoria. Open to adults who identify as trans, gender diverse, gender fluid, gender queer or non-binary AND are parents, coparents and carers in rainbow families in Victoria .
The group has a secret FB group, holds monthly online chats and hosts several Family Playground catch ups a year. If you are interested, email rainbowfamilies@switchboard.org.au with the subject line "transPARENT" and we will be in touch on about how to get involved.
Community of Practice
Our Community of Practice on-line events support services to develop and deliver rainbow family inclusive better practice across Victoria. Rainbow Families Switchboard offers consultation, training and support to all levels of government.
